Ten thoughts on great cities for a break

We're off to Marrakech tomorrow for a weekend break. Very excited. Normal patchy service will be resumed as soon as possible. It's the first time we've ever been there. Here are ten cities I've either never been to, or have just been to for work and would like to go to very soon.

Rome
Belfast
Boston
Berlin
Moscow
Madrid
Tokyo
Prague
Split
Milan

Try Rome at New Year! It is totally wild, very cold but one of the best places to spend NY!

Tokyo is a blast, quite possibly the wierdest place I have ever had the fortune to visit. I was only there for three days on a stopover on the way back from Australia, but it struck a chord with me.

Prague - take a camera, lots of photos to take, and enjoy the beer and dumplings. My advice would be to go during the week purely because it is now the haunt of stag and hen parties.

Madrid - I preferred the Spanish capital to Barcelona as it happens, plenty to do, plenty to see, and of course with it being in spain, don't get up too early as the place doesn't close until 5 or 6am!!
